Broad Coalition of Firefighters Endorse Congressman Derek Tran

National and local professional firefighter groups target this high-stakes race to ensure legislative majorities in 2026 Midterms

Garden Grove, CA – Today, the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Orange County Professional Firefighters Association (OCPFA), and the Fountain Valley Firefighters Association (FVFA) endorsed frontline candidate Derek Tran, who represents the most competitive House seat in Southern California.

Representing over 360,000 combined professional firefighters, emergency medical workers, and rescue workers across North America, the endorsements from IAFF, OCPFA, and FVFA signal Congressman Tran’s strong legislative record advancing policies promoting public safety. IAFF, OCPFA, and FVFA’s endorsements add to a growing coalition of public safety organizations backing Tran’s reelection, including most recently from the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs.
