Garden Grove, CA — Today, Workers Rights Attorney, U.S. Army Veteran, City Commissioner, and Small Business Owner, Derek Tran who is running in California’s 45th Congressional District against incumbent Michelle Steel, released a polling memo commissioned by Tulchin Research that shows Tran leading the Democratic Field and expanding that lead when more information is provided to likely primary voters.

Tran leads the crowded Democratic field in the initial vote, and after the introduction of more positive information on all candidates, Tran increases his lead by +14% to 34%
The stark difference in support between Derek and Nguyen-Penaloza after providing additional information is particularly noteworthy because the poll even informed voters of the California Democratic Party's endorsement of the Garden Grove Councilmember, yet she still loses ground and trails Derek by nearly -20 points.
