Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Derek Tran
Garden Grove, CA — Today, Workers’ Rights Advocate, U.S. Army Veteran, Consumer Rights Attorney, City Commissioner, and Small Business Owner Derek Tran, who is running in California’s 45th Congressional District, announced that he was endorsed by Reproductive Freedom for All. RFFA, formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America, is a national organization dedicated to protecting women’s right to choose. Derek’s opponent in this race, extreme MAGA Republican Michelle Steel, has twice co-sponsored a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incenst, the health of the mother, or IVF treatments.
“With Trump and the Republican Party working to ban abortion in all 50 states, California is ground zero for taking back the House so that we can lock in the reproductive freedom majority who will restore the federal right to abortion.” Said Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju. “Derek Tran will fight relentlessly for reproductive freedom, and we need to send him to Washington to do exactly that. We are proud to endorse him and will be working side by side with our members in California to make sure he’s elected this November.”
“A woman’s right to choose is a paramount issue for me. All the more so because my opponent is one of the most anti-choice members of Congress.” Said Tran. “In keeping with her tradition of promoting extreme viewpoints that are completely out of step with her constituents, Michelle Steel has supported banning all abortions and all IVF treatments, and removing the FDA-approved mifepristone from our shelves. I am proud to accept the endorsement of Reproductive Freedom for All and to have them as a partner in the fight to protect women’s reproductive freedom.”
