Garden Grove, CA – Today, the OC Register endorsed Frontline Congressman Derek Tran, who is running for reelection in the most competitive must-hold House seat in Southern California.

Following an extensive interview process, the Editorial Board endorsed Tran for his proven record calling out abusive immigration enforcement practices, Congress’ unsustainable deficit spending, President Trump’s tariff policies, and the costly war in Iran, making Tran the clear choice in this race.

“It is an honor to earn the endorsement of the OC Register Editorial Board,” said Congressman Tran. “The OC Register has long been an important voice for our community. While career politicians run Washington with their bank accounts in mind, I have proudly always put Southern California families first. I am grateful for the Editorial Board’s support in my reelection, and I look forward to earning every vote this November to continue our important work ahead.”

The OC Register’s endorsement adds to a growing coalition of Southern California organizations backing Tran’s reelection, including from the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs, Orange County Professional Firefighters Association, Fountain Valley Firefighters Association, Orange County Labor Federation, Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council, and IBEW Local 441.
