ICYMI: MAGA Extremists in Congress block IVF and Contraception Protection, Again

Michelle Steel Lies To Constituents After Voting Against Protecting IVF

Garden Grove, CA — Yesterday, California Congressmember Michelle Steel Tweeted her support for IVF, which thousands of Southern California families rely on to help them start their families. But just weeks ago, Michelle Steel along with MAGA allies in Congress blocked legislation to provide access to contraception and IVF.  All 49 Senate Republicans signed a statement proclaiming their strong support for protecting access to IVF for American Women before immediately reneging on that promise and voting against legislation codifying IVF.

Representative Michelle Steel lied to the people of Southern California yesterday, again.” Said Tran, “She was an early sponsor of the ‘Life at Conception Act’ that would ban abortion, limit access to contraception, and ban IVF. Removing herself only AFTER winning her primary. Do not be fooled, Michelle Steel is a career MAGA extremist politician who will do anything to remain in office. That’s why I’m calling on Michelle to be honest for once - and to stand up for the women of California and call on her Senate Colleagues to codify access to IVF for all women. Or will she continue to be a shameless shill for extremist ideologues to remain in office at any cost.”
