Congressman Derek Tran Reports $1.12M Q2 Fundraising Haul, Demonstrating Commanding Advantage in Race for Re-Election
The latest fundraising reports show significant grassroots support for Congressman Derek Tran heading into the 2026 midterms
Garden Grove, CA – Today, frontline candidate and Democratic nominee Derek Tran, who represents one of the most competitive House seats in the country, announced that his campaign raised over $1.12 million in Q2 with $3.16 million cash on hand, with an average contribution of $51.49.
“Grassroots momentum is on our side heading into November,” said Campaign Manager Jindalae Suh. “The groundswell of support behind Congressman Derek Tran comes from public school teachers, first responders, and veterans across Orange and Los Angeles Counties who believe in a future where the American Dream is a reality for all. Heading into a competitive general election, we are sending a strong message to out-of-touch Republicans that CA-45 is not for sale.”
In 2024, Tran flipped CA-45 by just over 600 votes in the second-closest and most expensive House race in the country. Keeping CA-45 blue will be critical to securing a Democratic House majority in November.
